Help me give my students a Super-Sloth first aid playground bag equipped with correct skin tone bandages, ice-packs, and a microwavable sloth to use in the classroom.
I am a second-year preschool teacher and will always have 16 incredible student explorers. My students will spend their school year ready to explore through play and guidance.
The children are 4 years old and need hands-on experiences in order to understand their world.
All of my babies come from low-income homes and may have more challenges than most other 4 years olds. No matter what their home lives may be, I vow to provide the best Pre-K experience that I can. I want to strive to make my room safe, engaging, and fun.
My Project
This school year has shown me that there needs to be a health supply bag that can be carried to the playground and field trips with my Pre-K Super Sloths. So many of my students have needed ice packs, bandages, and tissues each day and so much time have been occupied running back and forth inside the classroom, or to the bus to get these supplies.
I would absolutely love to create a supply bag that already has all of the supplies we need so that my students can get right on back to exploring.
This bag would contain bandages of their skin color, reusable ice packs, and moist towelettes.
I feel that this project is going to be so important to our class. Having all the supplies ready to go each day will cut back on a lot of wasted time, and the students will be able to get cleaned up and fixed up right away!
