As a part of the early elementary education team, we are a charter school with a focus on excellence. We have expectations of excellence for our students, teachers, parents, administrators and board of directors. Together as a team we encourage each other to achieve and excel.

Many times teachers do not have the discretionary income to provide materials for outstanding academics. Children learn valuable lessons with hands-on resources. Science is brought to life when the wooded yard is the classroom. We can investigate soil, compare and contrast bugs, and observe nature. The whole world is a classroom, and we need hands-on supplies to represent real life learning.

Our students need a science discovery center to engage their five senses. We also need individual science centers for small group exploration. Our classroom would be enlivened with science bags to use our sense of touch to draw conclusions, and a sink or float experiment kit will help us learn measurement.

Your support of education supports our pursuit of excellence. Together we can put science back in the forefront of elementary education. Your contribution to our classroom will help us implement science lessons that the students will retain. Our goal is excellence in all subjects--including science.
