Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

I work at a school where Pre-k students are very creative, thoughtful, and full of potential. They love hands-on, They come to school everyday ready to learn new things. They come from homes where the families often struggle to find employment and opportunity but they want the best for they families. Our Pre-k students can go on educational programs in small groups like Star-fall, ABC mouse,Cool Math and many more to enhance their learning skills. They would be happy and excited to receive the Tablets.

My Project

We will do small groups and our students will learn from star fall and abc mouse, they will learn letters and letter sounds. They will learn that every letter makes a sound the tablets have so many avenues of learning our students will learn how to blend sounds together to make words. This is some of our students first time ever being in school the get a chance to learn technology. They will learn how a tablet works and what it is used for. I’m so excited about introducing Pre-k four and five-year-old students to the tablet and the many learning tools.
