Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
As my students begin their educational journey, I love to see their creativity and imagine through art expression. Having a comfortable learning environment helps their creative juices flow! Their imagination is endless when they have the materials at their fingertips! They are eager to share what they create at school with their families. I want to provide the materials for them to express and share what their art holds in their eyes. After all, art isn’t just in the eye of the beholder. It’s in the imagination of those that believe! When my students get overwhelmed, beanbags are a comfortable place to sit and calm down. Learning our emotions and understanding it’s okay to feel the way we do is important. Using the tropical colors creates a comfortable, relaxing, and fun way to see what’s going on in our room from calendar to birthdays! It’s a great way to celebrate all we learn in Pre-K!
