My students need the three hole punch and electronic stapler to keep their papers organized. Our class needs the computer speakers to be able to listen to our morning music.
I am a Pre-K teacher at a high poverty school on the island of Kauai for 20 pre-kindergarten students.
My students ages are 4 and 5 years old.
I am proud of the progress my students have made over the past year. DonorsChoose.org has helped our classroom in so many ways by providing sensory boxes, supplies, outdoor fun, STEM toys, and games. Now, I want my students to grow up with some of the technology fun that other pre-schoolers have. Please help us reach our goal.
My Project
Currently, I spend hours using a manual hole punch and stapler to keep each child's notebook organized. At the end of the year, I give the parents the completed notebook. It is important to the children to have their notebook look nice.
The students will be able to use the electronic stapler to make books in class.
Our computer speakers are broken. We need a replacement to be able to complete our morning circle songs without having to get so closely to the computer.
These three things are very simple items that will help us save so much time, and extra effort wasted.
