Most of my students do not have materials at home to create their own art. I like to include as much art in our lessons as possible because it plays such a big role in our developmental process.
Our school is a Title l school.
Most of my students have come from environments with minimal learning activities. I like to provide my students a fun and engaging environment through learning activities. I like my students to not only have a warm and loving environment, but to be able to take their own memories home with them.
My students need more practice with letter recognition , but are tired of the same games and videos we have been practicing with. The new magnetic board would allow students to interact hands on with letters and match pictures accordingly. The magnetic board can also be used for multiple other activities as well, since it is a white board my students can practice writing letter or even sounding out words. This is a classroom item that can grow with us throughout the year.
The sight word game will be good for small group practice of sight words, but keep it fun and students wanting to learn more.
