Help me give my students their own center choice baskets while following Covid guidelines.

My students come to school every day ready and excited to learn, but we need more resources! I teach at a Title I school where all of my students receive free lunch. They are part of the VPK Florida program which is a not-for-profit organization committed to the belief that every child, regardless of circumstances at birth, has the ability to succeed in school and in life. The opportunities offered by VPK lead to healthier, empowered children and families, and stronger, more vibrant communities. We would love and appreciate your help!
Please help my class by reaching our goal to add individual “book bins” and other learning materials to our classroom. Each student needs their own bin and art materials to stay in complicance with COVID guidelines.
These items will help keep our classroom safe and promote a healthy learning enviroment.
I have seen how these bins and art supplies can positively affect my students work and demeanor and hope that the additional options will help us grow even more!
Each student will be given a bin labeled with their name and class symbol. Inside their bin, will be toys that only they can play with to help stop the spread of germs and illnesses. These toys will be cleaned at the end of the week and rotated to another student’s book bin. They will also each be given a labeled craft tray, dough cutters, and dough rollers that only they will be allowed to play and learn with. These toys are great because they help with fine motor and pre-readiness skills while staying in compliance with our COVID safety guidelines.
Even though this is not a typical school year for students, it is important to get them ready and eager for learning and for Kindergarten. Without ways to keep materials seperated the students are missing out on important learning opportunities and experiences. Please help us make a difference in our student's lives.
