Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This projects consists of various materials such as a dramatic play table and chairs, kinetic sand and play doh, play doh tools, and spike the hedgehog fine motor game!

The materials we are seeking to purchase will help all of our learners.

Our classroom was lucky to receive a new Melissa and Dough Kitchen set last school year! We are seeking to purchase a small square table with two chairs for the center. This will allow the students to use their imagination by setting the table, pretending to cook, etc.

Sensory play is very important for my students (kinetic sand and play doh/tools). It helps encourage students to use curiosity and problem solving skills and also encourages the development of language and motor skills. We also included Spike the hedgehog! This fine motor activity will help build hand muscles and coordination and also color and number recognition!
