This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
My students are extra sweet, kind-hearted, and very eager to learn. I teach in a Title I school where many of the families do not have access to online learning during the school closures due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Most of my students depend on the packets/materials I create and send to them.
My Project
Please help me give my Pre-K Head Start students exposure to the alphabet to continue learning letter identification from home during the COVID-19 pandemic. A major focus in Pre-k is letter and sound identification to prepare students to learn to read in Kindergarten.
The Alpha-Bots and magnetic lowercase letters are "hands-on" letter activities that can be used in many creative ways at home during the coming months.
These letter activities will encourage my students to stay engaged with the letters of the alphabet in a fun, creative way. Thank you.
