The majority of my children are first time school goers; meaning they have never been in a formal learning setting before. My students are excited, eager, caring children that have a love for learning and exploring new things. They are easily engaged and ready to learn on a daily basis. As the younger population of the school, they possess a thirst for knowledge about all things and are instantly intrigued and full of questions and hypothesis about new things. Learning to use the current technology provided has been a bumpy road, and some children are still unsure and uneasy about using desktop computers.
Growing up in the 21st century, technology is ever evolving; much of technology we know of is or will soon be obsolete for my students.
As their first experience with formal learning, I would love to introduce them to more relevant technology to help them explore the world of literacy.
We believe that Pre K is a pivotal time in a child's life. it is their first formal interaction with education. We use graduation as a time transition from "little kid" to student. It also helps them see what they can achieve when they work hard and do their best when it comes to their educations. Parents also get to witness this time of transition as there "baby" is now growing and becoming more independent. These caps and gowns will continue to benefit Pre K students and teachers year after year, to give students and their families precious memories that will last a lifetime.
