I have the privilege of teaching our nation's future! It all starts at Pre-K. My class is filled with energetic four and five-year-old students that are thirsty to learn. Our only problem is funding. Our public Pre-K Program is a classroom of 16 students located within a Title I school in eastern North Carolina.
Our Pre-K program does not receive enough funding that allows pre-k teachers to order items we feel are necessary in the classroom.
We want our students to have access to awesome educational techonoly. We feel that learning takes place when we learn through play. Please help our Pre-K class go techno and give our students the skills to compete in a techy world.
We want to close the techonological gap experienced by students who attend Title I schools. We would love for our students to have access to the same technolgy that other children have access to. In pre-k we learn through play, but in an ever changing world, our play must now include the use of technology.
Osmo Little Genius Starter Kit is an innovative tool that helps bridge the gap of learning through play and techonoly.
Pre-K students will not only be able to use their small muscles while using manipulatives to create abstract art, they will learn about their emotions while experimenting with costumes as well gain some early literacy skills when attempting to use shapes to make letters.
