Keep Calm and Go Green! Help my Pre-K students make every day Earth Day!
I currently work in a title 1 school in Brooklyn, NY.
My school just became an Eco-School. I teach 18 young Pre-K children who are curious and ready to learn. With our changing neighborhood and becoming an Eco School, it is important that my students learn how to help keep Brooklyn Green!
My Project
I would like to help teach my students how to help care for our Mother Earth. My goal is to teach my students different ways of reducing our carbon footprint by planting and growing our own plants and trees. I also would like to teach my children that we can use the herbs we plant in recipes related to our cooking lessons. I hope that my children will learn to be more eco friendly, and teach and inspire others to follow in their little footsteps.
