Pre-K Building Foundations -One Block at a Time!

Help me give my students a variety of items to add diversity and hands-on exploration. My students love to learn and explore different centers in the classroom. Building blocks are a great foundation!

My Project

When children come into the classroom, I want them to be curious, ask questions, and challenge ideas. A classroom is a safe place for learning and exploration of their environment.

The students love to learn about the world around them building, asking questions, and creating.

The blocks will help the students use their imaginations, take turns, build new friendships, and develop self-esteem. The globes help children understand where they live and where other places in the world are located. The magnetic tiles are so fun, and the students create so many masterpieces with these colorful shapes. The magnetic people would be an added bonus to their creation. Culturally diverse books help them begin to understand concepts like race and ethnicity. Baby dolls give children the opportunity to be empathic and emotional and show caring and attention toward others.
