My students need the opportunity to fulfill their dreams. My students live in a small bayside community that was severely impacted by Hurricane Sandy several years ago. Some houses in our community are just being fixed now and others are still waiting. I teach in a low-income school district which means many of my families work very hard to provide for their families with many of them working more than one job.

My students are the best thing about my job. They are creative, lively and eager to explore our world. I look forward to seeing each of their bright sunny faces every day.
My Project
These KwikStix are just what my students need. Painting is great and my children love to do that but it almost always leads to a big mess. With these KwikStix, they can be as creative as they want to without worry about getting it all over their clothes. Pre-K is messy but with these Stix and the quick dry paint, the bonus is the paints dry quickly so my children are not waiting for them to dry to take their masterpieces home.
