Practice and Problem Solving in Art!

My Project

In art class, drawing practice is essential to learning the elements and principals of art for any age. I teach art to kindergarten through 5th grade students and each student in my building would benefit from the use of white boards and dry erase markers.

These tools will allow students to practice drawing skills, planning, and problem solving ideas for art projects.

With the use of white boards and dry erase markers, students will respond to drawing prompts to warm up their creative thinking at the beginning of class. They will also serve as a tool to test and sketch out ideas before making them permanent in their artwork.

My students love art and especially love to draw. I feel that these tools will be greatly utilized in my classroom by each grade level.
