Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

The students at my school are athletic, crazy, awesome, inquisitive and so much more. They are individuals, some are fighting a battle to overcome their socioeconomic statuses, a language barrier, special needs and/or stereotypes. That is only a few of the struggles my students face every day.

No matter what, they come to school eager to learn and better themselves.

Some do it because school is the most positive place to be, some do it because they recognize getting an education will improve not just their lives but their family's as well.

My Project

We want to continue to offer agility building conditioning for our soccer, football, and basketball teams while maintaining social distance. These tools will allow us to set up agility practices with the players when they are on campus but stay 6 feet away from each other.

By having more agility tools to set up, we can allow them to practice conditioning safely, this will allow them to be prepared when we start to play against other teams in the spring.

It will not be the same as practices and games but it will be similar and they will get to interact with their teammates and friends. They will maintain their conditioning so that when we can play games, we are prepared.
