My students love getting to use technology in the classroom. We integrate technology as much as possible when the lesson requires activities that include the following activities that might include: Google Classroom assignments, collaborative projects, research, presentations, quizzes, vocabulary, interactive movie projects, charting lab graphs and data analysis, etc.
My students are active learners who are highly motivated when presented with an engaging lesson.
The students will agree, they get excited to learn when technology is integrated into the classroom.
My Project
My students love working on the Chromebooks in our classroom. Therefore, we try to use them as much as possible. In this regard, my students will use the Chromebook storing the Chromebooks in their designated shelf on the cart and plugging them into an organized re-charging station, these technology resources will be better managed and thus will help cut down the class time it takes to set up and pack up at the beginning and end of each class. In addition, students will learn how to treat the Chromebooks with respect.
Having the Chromebook cart will also assist in students set the device in its designated spot on the cart for security purposes as well as recharging it for the next class.
Additionally, since the students get frustrated with all of the cords, the cart shelving has designated cords for each slot.
Thus, the efficiency of storing and securing the Chromebook resources will align with the slot in the cart to make them usable in our classroom or to wheel down to other Science classrooms on campus. Also, this life skill of organizing technology materials will positively impact my students' lives by helping them learn to treat technology with respect and keep it organized.
