Many of my third graders come from families with hardworking parents who struggle financially month to month. My students are a group of third graders, ages eight and nine, at a Title I school in Phoenix, Arizona. The students walk into our classroom every day full of life, ready to learn, and excited for what is in store for them that day!
My goal is to provide my students with materials that would allow them to grow and learn each day.
My third graders are very enthusiastic and excited learners! They just need some additional tools to get them on their way to learning.
My Project
Help make our math and reading fun and engaging with hands on puzzles and games that are interactive, engaging, and can be differentiated for all student's needs!
All students love to play, wouldn't it be great if they were LEARNING too?
Students can practice and review concepts taught in the classroom all year long. The puzzles are inclusive as everyone is working toward a common goal which can promote a sense of belonging. Cooperative games teach kindness and fairness which are necessary social interactions.
Students will be challenged to work together to complete the task and create a memorable experience through multiplication, division, and and fraction concepts. They also will further practice their language skills by building words, practicing comprehension and vocabulary skills.
