This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I love everything about my students! They are two amazing groups of bilingual kids that are learning to explore the world throughout two languages (Spanish-English). They are special because they come from different backgrounds and socio-economical backgrounds. They enjoy and embrace their native language and culture at the same time that they enjoy and embrace what being in this country means. We have fun every day learning Math, Science and Social Studies. They are very smart, responsible and independent, mature and funny.

My Project

These bands will give my students the opportunity to give and help directly other kids in need. UNICEF USA will save lives while my students move, walk, run, and dance!

UNICEF Kid Power gives kids the power to save lives by connecting their everyday activity to real-world impact.

The more they move, the more lives are saved! Thank you for helping my kids make the difference in this world. They need to feel that they are not strangers in this country and that they really have a bright future ahead of them. They are ready, committed and excited! Thank you again.
