My Students

My students are a loving and caring group of kids. Most of our kids comes from low-income homes. Most kids come to school with little to no supplies for school. The recent pandemic has added even more stress to families to provide what the kids need for school.

First grade is a critical year in their educational lives.

In first grade, we build their reading skills so that they can be able to understand what they are reading. We also help teach the kids in Math to be able to do fast multiple problems.

My Project

This chromebook station would help out tremendously because at school we use chromebooks for just about everything. Chromebooks are used for Istation testing, Dreambox, Reading test on test days, etc. This would help with day to day instruction in first grade on the chromebooks.

By having a charging station we would be able charge all computers instead of charging one by one which takes a lot of time in the day.

By having the charging station each child will have a working and charged chromebook everyday at school to use.
