My students need the Power Pen and Quiz Cards to help them learn their math facts. This will be a great center for them to use while others get pulled for small group instruction.
My students are enthusiastic and eager to learn. Many of them come from low-income families, therefore I feel they appreciate everything that is given to them and strive to learn something every day. My students are very active and learn best using their hands and interacting with others.
My school caters to the students and provides them an environment that is rich in learning experiences and social interactions.
I not only teach my students the standards, but how to be good citizens as well.
They really are an amazing group of students whom I have come to care about very much, which is why I am trying to get this project funded for them.
My Project
Teaching at a Title I school makes it hard to receive materials to help our students learn they way they want to learn. Having these Power Pens Math Facts cards will help them learn their math facts and other math concepts easily and in a fun way.
Students love self-checking games, which is what these Power Pens and cards will do.
The students will use the cards during center time while the other students are pulled for small group instruction.
I can't wait to see my students enjoying math with these fun and engaging cards. Please help us reach our goal so we can add these to our rotations.
