Help me give my students PowerMyLearning so my students and their families can have the resources available to understand the content while being at home.
This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
Our 4th-grade classroom is a very diverse group of enthusiastic learners! Many of my students live in low-income families, many with limited resources. The ability to make choices in class helps students develop ownership of their learning. They have motivated students with daily learning goals.
Each child in my classroom absolutely loves learning, but the method and environment in which they best learn vary.
We incorporate a variety of learning strategies to ensure that each student's needs are met.
These students will be an incredible group, and I am so lucky and thankful to be able to work with them for my 4th year.
My Project
PowerMyLearning is a program that supports teachers and families working together as a team. The teacher empowers the students by encouraging and preparing them to become the expert at home.
If you impact the student, the student will grow confidence.
Students, being the expert at home, creates meaningful family engagement, while students master rigorous content and own their learning.
With that said it has given me a chance to engage with families more than ever and to reach the community. I am asking for your help in getting PowerYourLearning for my students and family as a great way to bring family engagement to their door.
It gives amazing content that are fun and impactful for all and provides the opportunity for everyone to grow and learn!
