My Students

My students' demographic at my school places them within "at-risk" categories. But what people do not see, that the faculty and staff at my school see every day, is the hard work and dedication that my students possess.

They possess perseverance to continue on when time after time they are doubted!

They possess good hearts that care deeply about not only their academics but arts, classmates, music, sports, as well!

My Project

As our classroom becomes a one-to-one device school, it becomes paramount that we have a place to charge their devices so they never miss a moment of their learning. My student take Chromebooks back and forth from school to home. We no longer have the large charging stations because of this transition.

I am requesting an extension cord and charging station so my students will have a place to charge their devices, and not miss a moment of learning.

Power to the Students literally gives my students the charging capabilities they need to stay plugged in to learning.
