Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Our students consist of 36 potential scientists in first through sixth grades—including 10 who are still learning English as they refine their science skills.
As a part of the Science Fair Club, these students will choose an experiment, a demonstration, a collection or a model that they feel passionate about.
With guidance from our staff, each student will develop a presentation that asks and answers scientific questions and problems. With this, we hope to encourage our curious students to be proud of their work, while continuing to grow and share their love of the sciences.
My Project
The Science Fair will guide students through the scientific process, and empower them to answer complex scientific questions.
Prizes like the Adventure in Science books and the chemistry kits and the Slinkys will serve to not only award participation and hard work, but also to help students expand their curiosities on building new creative concepts in the future.
The best way to increase interests and ability is to participate more in the various science areas.
Our students already have shown a strong interest in science by participating, and rewarding that will help encourage them to stay on this path. Thank you!
