Posters and Chairs for Our Scholars

My Project

To support our scholars with their learning, this project consists of a large Post-It poster paper that is used throughout the school year so that students can see important information and texts around their classroom. We use these large posters to display functional texts. In addition to this, it also allows students to partake in "gallery walks" where they get to draw on these posters to show their understanding and creativity to their peers and school community.

As a Title I school, we are limited in funding and want to be able to provide materials for our scholars to express their individuality, knowledge, and creativity.

The magnets that are in this project are also used to display student work on magnetic boards and/or compliments from teachers and other educators within our community.

The colorful stools provide our scholars with fun seating options during small and/or independent work and provide a burst of colors to represent our diverse classroom and school community.
