Our school is a small rural alternative school in Central Idaho. The economy has been struggling for years. This has made funding things difficult. In hard times we need to get creative to make it happen for our students.
Our classroom serves the most at risk students in the school district.
They were struggling with being in the traditional high school and came to us to get back on track. Many of the students struggle just to get their basic needs met and don't have the resources to bring needed supplies to school.
My Project
Our students will be able show their creative side using, markers, Sharpies, colored pencils and poster board. Many of their classes require hands on projects that require them to produce a poster and share it with their class. My students want to be able to show that they have the creative power to do this. They need to have supplies that will help them accomplish the task.
Scraping the bottom is not fun when you are trying to be creative.
The supplies that we have are beginning to dwindle and the kids want to have more of them to work on their project and create a quality product. To do this they need to be able to access these supplies.
