My Students

My students come to school to learn the essentials to become successful adults. They may come from Spanish-speaking homes or English-speaking homes, but each and every one of my students come to school to learn.

Our students strive to do the best they can, by challenging and pushing themselves to do well.

My students come from very diverse backgrounds, which makes our classroom the perfect place for debates, discussions, and hands-on activities. Diversity leads to different views on each topic we cover throughout the year.

My Project

We are trying something new this year, students are required to do a "book project" when they have finished reading a book.

The poster boards will allow my students to illustrate their favorite part of the book along with a brief summary of the book with any important information, whether they divide the poster into sections or use it to create a collage.

The index cards will allow them to have "notes" to read from while they are presenting to the class.

The 11 x 17 inch paper will enable my students to have different avenues to take versus only using the poster board.
