Help me give my students classroom incentives as we navigate learning in an ever changing world!

What do I love about my students you ask? Simple. What I love about my students is the fact that even on my worst of days, my students can cheer me up instantly. That's a superpower of theirs, even if they don't know it yet. Society says that I'm supposed to inspire my students, but the reality is, my students inspire me. They inspire me to be a better teacher. To try things that I've never tried before (all I'm going to say is Fortnite, I understand why kids like it so much). To laugh at a mistake and to even give students a second chance when they have broken a classroom rule. I've learned that if you show your students even the slightest amount of love, they will replicate it 100 times more. So why hold back any fraction of love?
My students are AMAZING even without trying to be!
When you look forward to going to work, you've made the right career choice for yourself. I love what I do because I love the kids that I teach. Who wouldn't love smiling, laughing, teaching, and encouraging AMAZING kids every day!?
I want to continue to foster their creativity, critical thinking, academic growth and problem solving skills by continuing the use of art, games, and incentives in our classroom. I have the art materials, the games we will play, and now we need the incentives!
Education, during a time of Covid, has changed life for many students across the country.
To bring a sense of normalcy, of getting back into our routines, I would like to continue the strides we made in the past by using incentives in my classroom. My students WORKED, and I mean WORKED hard for the opportunity to get a prize from our classroom prize chest. It was a domino affect in that once one student reached in and pulled out their prize, other students made it a point to do what was required of them to get their chance. I have found that using incentives in the classroom, has the power to not just change student behavior, but student engagement, student work completion, and student enjoyment in what they are learning.
I have heard, throughout the years, how much fun my class is! Do you remember ever telling your History teacher how fun their class is? I don't, and I made it a point to do the opposite of what I experienced. That is why these incentives are so important. Every single prize/item from the liquid timer pens, fuzzy pens, syringe pens, color changing pencils, smencils, scented erasers, sensory kits, candy, electric lamp, sand art, moon orbs, etc. will all be used as incentives throughout the school year. These items were chosen by the students themselves. Everything listed in this project are items my students promised to work for, and I have promised them the opportunity to obtain it, through your support.
