Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

There are two speech providers in our school servicing about 60 plus students. We are the Super Family of all shapes, colors, sizes, cultures, and abilities! We would like to share these Amazon gift cards with our students as Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports rewards for children who are working hard each day and trying their best. We would like to acknowledge students for "being responsible, respectful, and safe". It has been such an adjustment to the constant change in routine for these past few years durin Covid.

Instead of focusing on the learning loss during the pandemic, we would like to celebrate our children's success.

Many of our students are making great strides and persevere despite the anxiety and emotional roller coaster. These Amazon gift cards will be used as rewards for effort and achievement. It will reinforce positive behaviors and show our children that their efforts are noticed.

Despite a pandemic that turned our lives upside down, we made it this far together and we are ready to rock in the new year! Help us welcome the new year with a smile!
