Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

I love everything about my students! I work with multiple classrooms and are engaged with students from K-6 grade. My students are eager to learn. The vast majority of them are from low socioeconomic backgrounds, but they don't allow their circumstances to define them. They are very curious, intelligent, and full of life! They are special because they have endured learning in a virtual environment as well as being on-site at school! My wonderful students absolutely love to LEARN!

My students will have the awesome opportunity to learn how to budget the "Cougar Dollars" that they will receive for exhibiting positive behavior.

The "play" money will be saved and used to purchase items in our Incentive Store. These tangible items will undoubtedly encourage students to be on their best behavior and learn the importance of saving and budgeting their money. Financial Literacy will be an important part of our daily learning!
