My Students

The Seniors of Panther Automotive are a driven group of like minded young men who have been in the Automotive Program of Heritage High School for 3 to 4 years. Each one of them has a passion to go out into the field of Automotive repair or Mechanical Engineering.

All of these young men and women have taken and passed their ASE Entry-Level tests.

They are certified in HVAC, Brakes, Steering, and Suspension. Each of them has the opportunity to pass the Engine Repair, Manual Transmission, and Automatic Transmission tests during their Senior year.

Every one of these students have worked with me on repair projects on our staff vehicles and several of their own project cars as well. They go to car shows, they work on their own families cars, and they live, love & breath all things cars!

My Project

Positive Behavior Student Rewards! Students will be rewarded for completing assignments ahead of time. As they work through their lab assignments those who can work ahead with minimal guidance will have an advantage come test time. Each student will be offered the ASE test at the end of the semester. Those students who have the highest scores will receive a starter tool kit.

Each student has a goal to go into the field of automotive repair.

One of the biggest challenges to getting that first job in the automotive field is having their own tool set. My objective with this project is to kick-start that goal with a starter tool set.
