This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students live in a beautiful city. It is so diverse and so much to do. Our community is welcoming of all people but my students mostly come from low income families in a high-crime rate area. They are not able to get or have all the things that neighboring schools may receive.

They are resilient, loving and strong and these obstacles do not define them but instead fuel them to reach their goals.

My classes are made up of ELLs, special education students, and varying cultures. They all are at all different levels. They make me smile every day and I love being able to teach them.

My Project

In our school students are recognized for the positive choices they make by earning PBIS points. These points can then be used to purchase different items in a school store or a classroom store provided by the teacher.

Providing my students with a Positive Behavior Incentive Classroom Store will help increase positive choices which then leads to a more productive learning environment for all students.

You donation will give students the opportunity to earn rewards like snacks, school supplies, fidgets and Amazon gift cards for making Respectful, Responsible and Safe decisions while in the classroom!
