This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My school is really focusing on positive based incentives for our students. I want to give my kids new items to peak their interest. All if these items will be earned and available to all of my students. In my classroom I give out Champ Bucks. They are fake dollar bills in different amounts. The students get to buy items on Friday mornings. It teaches them responsibility by having to keep up with their money all week long. It also helps them learn how to count money since they have to purchase from my Champ Buck Store. All of these items are favorites of my students and they will love that we have added new items to purchase.
