My students come from a low economic area but are eager to earn and please others. I have students that are on the Autism spectrum, have learning disabilities, ADHD, behavior disorders etc. At times, everyday can be a struggle in a different area, but I continue to push through and do the best for my students specific needs.
I would like to update my classroom to make it a cozy, safe place for my students.
Having my students feel as comfortable as possible will encourage them to work harder.
My Project
Often my students come from backgrounds where times can be very stressful. I want to them to feel comfortable in my room so that they can learn in a safe environment.
Many times my classroom is a safe haven for students who are struggling that day because of different situations outside of the classroom.
I want the room to be cozy for them so that they can feel comfortable enough to share what is bothering them. The goal for is for my students is to be able to learn in a positive and safe environment.
