Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I am working with a great group of 7th and 8th grade students. They are hard working diverse group who are full of great community service project ideas.

We have an wide variety of students including an integrated special education program, a comprehensive gifted program, and a dual-language program.

My Project

These bright, colorful vinyl decorations will go on each bathroom stall in middle school and offer an opportunity for students to feel good while reinforcing some great messages.

Students may not always remember what we have taught them, but they will always remember how we made them feel.

These positive affirmations and materials will allow us to create a space that is colorful, inviting, and uplifting. Positive messages will greet students daily for years to come, and will make the students smile. When students view affirmations daily it will become part of who they are.
