Ours is a fun, sweet class with lots of different learning needs and styles. We are in a lower income area and a lot of my students would benefit from extra literacy activities. They are sweet, enthusiastic and fun. They are eager to learn and love stories. A listening center would help them be able to do this when I am working with other students. It would increase listening comprehension and writing skills. I have an amazing class I want to help succeed.
My Project
Due to the nature of our classroom we need to have portable centers that can easily be organized and put away. Please help me provide a portable writing center and various other portable literacy centers so that I can differentiate instruction. The literacy supplies I have chosen will help us in our writing center, listening center, phonics center, and reading centers. The students will easily be able to organize their materials and get started in centers independently. They will also be able to take responsibility in our classroom and help clean up each day. This project will help our classroom immensely!
