My Students

My students attend a Title I public school. Even though they do not have a lot of money or come from the best neighborhoods, they are amazing at troubleshooting and making the best out of everything they set out to accomplish.

The students are hungry for more in the way of hands-on learning in a professional recording studio environment.

I want to offer them the best education possible as they will become trendsetters in an ever-changing world of A/V Production.

My Project

I teach animation, environments, motion graphics, virtual reality, and character creation to use in our daily news show, film creation and sports broadcasting during this phase of distance learning.

My students are ready to create using Adobe Software and this MacBook is the perfect platform for me to teach them during this distance learning environment.

The BCHS A/V Production program is award-winning within several levels of the classes and clubs. The school's VOX News Team has won first place, gold medals for three years in a row in the Tennessee SkillsUSA Broadcast News Program. The BEAR Network has been award Silver status by the NFHS Network for quality sports production the past three years.

The BCHS Rockband won best song video in a contest to perform with Foreigner on stage. The Film Festival has challenged students to engage in film creation for the past eleven years. All of these awards are attributed to student success and having the appropriate equipment and studio experiences.
