Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Our district educates approximately 250 residential and day students in kindergarten through grade 12 who have emotional, behavioral, and learning problems. Most students reside here and live in cottages with an array of different staff members supporting them.

The computer lab is open to students in grades K-12.

Our classroom is designed to attract all ages and has a very warm and welcoming atmosphere of happiness to it when you enter. We try to keep a peaceful environment. Lessons are tailored to each student's ability and most often one-on-one instruction is necessary.

My Project

Please help me give my students a portable laptop experience with a stunning touchscreen, and the Windows and Office experience. I teach one of my computer classes in a separate building where there are no computers.

This portable laptop will give students the hands-on experience they need!

My students will work together and share the laptop. We will all take turns and we will have the opportunity to demonstrate each task learned to one another! This is a small class of about 8 to 10 students so having one laptop for all to use would be fantastic! How portable and great!
