The challenge that my students have is that when I am wanting to use my computer and overhead projector together in my class I always have to be in the back corner of the room using my computer and then they can't see or hear my well. I wish that, I could do all the controlling from the front.
My students are a mix of fifth and sixth graders that are very smart and and hard workers.
They are a mix of backgrounds and all bring different ideas and experiences into class discussions. The school we are at is a public school in Utah. They are all trying to learn and succeed to please themselves, their teacher, and their parents!
My Project
My students need a wireless keyboard and mouse to assist in enhancing use of inter-write technology and overhead projector. These resources that I am seeking will allow me to control my computer screen and Internet from the front of my room where I can stay in control and on top of my class. When I want to use the computer now I always have to run to the back corner of the room and make the changes I need. If I have both of these items, I can stay in the front where the kids can see and hear me better and then I can also keeps the flow of the lesson working faster too!
This project is very important to me and will also help my kids more than they might know.
I think that by using these items, I can have the kids control the computer from their seats so that they can get some hands on practice of things before they are expected to do them!
