Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Math and science are the two most overlooked subjects in school, but yet, they are probably the two most important ones. STEM is our future. Let's get our students prepared.
I can't overemphasis how amazing my students are.
They live in the poorest Congressional district in the United States. Yet, they overcome adversity everyday. They are eager, wide-eyed, and ready to learn. They yearn to learn, and I want to be able to make math come to life for them. I want them to see how math can change their lives.
My Project
Two portable hard drives would allow me the flexibility to carry around work without limitations. Flash drives are limited in storage space. The 1 TB portable hard drives would allow me the freedom of moving from room to room, computer to computer and be able to bring all my student work with me.
Two large capacity storage drives will be able to help save student work, as well as save pictures and student videos.
Students will be able to save and/or copy work for the storage drives. But most importantly, large files such as student made videos can be stored for future retrieval and use. I will always have student work with me and will not be tied down to the spotty wifi.
Student presentations can be video recorded and saved. Student work can be scanned and saved. Students will have an archive of their precious work.
