My Project

I am the K-6 librarian in a small rural Title I school in Arkansas. More than 80% of our students receive free/reduced-price lunch, and we also have a large population of students who speak English as a second language. We have also had many students move to our district over the last several weeks who do not speak any English. Many of these students are 4th-6th graders. I have been working over the last year to add more popular books in Spanish to my library, but many of these students have already worked their way through most of what I have.

The books in this project are popular series in Spanish that my new students will love to read!

Many of these have been requested by my students.
