Our school is booming with diversity! When you walk through our doors, you will see smiling faces on staff and students. Our school’s economic needs are high. Every student gets a free breakfast and lunch, but we are not a Title I school.
My students strive to do their best and learn from their mistakes.
I have 21 sweet and motivated students. They are hands-on learners and love to play! My students come from all different backgrounds and learn from each other. We all work together to help one another feel safe and loved in our classroom family.
My Project
Our school's popcorn machine is over 20 years old. It is being held together with duct tape! Having a new popcorn machine will allow teachers and PTA to raise money for our school!
Students can learn great business skills from this project!
Students can learn how to make popcorn, set prices, collect and count money, and distribute goods! I have some economically disadvantaged families in my classroom. I've discounted field trip cost to make sure that they are still able to participate in new experiences. A popcorn fundraiser once a month could really benefit all the classrooms at my school.
