Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My students are extremely thoughtful and kind. They work together and encourage one another. In the spirit of work together the members of the track challenged each other to bring one of their friends to track this year. As a team, we want to double the participation in field events.

There is nothing better than having what you need when you need it.

Protecting the kids from the sun's burning rays and inclement weather are always a top priority at meets.

My Project

The donations from this project will make an immediate difference with the field event athletes. The pop-up tents will provide a quiet space for the kids that need to take a few minutes to prepare for competition.

The tents also provide cover from inclement weather.

This is a big bonus for cold mornings, rainy days, and hot rays of sunshine during long days at track meets. The added value of privacy and protection make the need for the tents immeasurable. I can meet the needs of my kids. The tents are portable and lightweight. They will allow me to address several needs to help my kids.
