My students need mobile retail items to successfully set up a retail display on location. We host many "pop-up" shops to reach customers and movable fixtures make the process easier.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
A select group of students at Trimble Technical High School are preparing for college by taking exclusive classes in the Retail Entrepreneurship program.
Our high school is a Program of Choice School that takes the extra step in making sure that students gain the knowledge and experience they need in order to be successful!
This year, students created their own on campus spirit store. A project that was three years in the making. Students developed a business plan, inventory management and marketing initiatives that create a real world entrepreneurship and retail experience!
These students are excited to see where their hard work and dedication will lead.
My Project
My students have taken their retail skills to a new level. This year in an effort to capitalize on 21st century shopping habits, students hosted multiple "pop-up" shops. We have held successful pop-ups at basketball, baseball, softball and soccer games. By attending these school-sponsored events, students are able to engage with new customers improving their professional communication and sales abilites.
Students are meeting the demands for school-related merchandise and are asking for these supplies to make transporting inventory and display fixtures easier.
Pop-up shops have given my students new opportunities to practice their retail skills as well as connect with the community outside the school.
