My Project

Imagine being excited to be at school; excited to start your day; and excited to learn. Every day, I will be welcomed with over forty faces who show that excitement. We are blessed with limited funds from our district; however, those are to be used on consumable items within the classroom.

My students are the most excited and hardworking kids a teacher could ask for.

My students work daily to improve themselves in and out of the classroom. They are eager to use what they learn into action! My students are very flexible, eager to try new things, and are always wanting to participate in hands-on projects that show what they know.

Reading is more than looking at a screen.

It is holding, touching, feeling, and imagining. Tangible books make for a much more meaningful reading experience. Completion of this project will give my students a more normal school like experience while learning at home. With the ability to have a book in their hands, students can look back, annotate, take notes and drift into another world found outside of a computer screen or the internet.
