My 30 students each need a chair pocket for their seat in order to keep their many materials organized daily.
Do you remember how hard it was to keep your desk clean and organized in elementary school-- the times that your teacher dedicated to cleaning out your desk? Help my students stay organized and able to find their learning materials by donating chair pockets to our classroom!
In my classroom, I have students who love to learn, but struggle just a bit on the organization part of school.
They can read, write, and do math with the best of them-- when they can find their materials! Organization is such an important skill to learn at a young age to become successful in school-- something that I want them to learn throughout this school year!
I am asking for colorful chair pockets that will allow each student a little more room to keep their many notebooks, textbooks, and folders. By giving each student their own chair pocket, they are able to learn organizational skills in the school setting that will help them be successful post third grade.
This project is so very important for our classroom.
I have a variety of learners in my room-- many who are capable of completing high level work, but are distracted by their "mess" and lost materials due to a lack of organizational skills. By providing a resource to help them become organized, these students can become successful learners in the classroom.
DonorsChoose makes it easy for anyone to help a classroom in need. Public school teachers from every corner of America create classroom project requests, and you can give any amount to the project that inspires you.
