I teach second grade. My students come into my classroom everyday excited, enthusiastic, ready and eager to learn! They are dedicated and hardworking children and their love for learning will only be enhanced with the right tools needed.
My students attend a public school in an urban and low-income community (79.7% low income).
They are young and eager students with a thirst for knowledge, but certain materials are needed in order for the students to reach their full potential throughout the year in my classroom.
My Project
We need projector accessories to use with our projector in our daily classroom lessons. Having a projector allows me to teach visual learners in the classroom. However, not having the needed accessories can make learning difficult. These accessories can provide a better a greater learning experience for all my students.
Unfortunately, we can not utilize our new projector without a screen and speakers for the class to see and hear what is happening on the projector.
We are very excited to have a projector, but can not use a white bed sheet hanging on the wall for long. Plus, the class has to be extra quiet to barely be able to hear out of the actual projector. The projector will also sit on a stack on books until we are fortunate to have a small stand. This will benefit my class tremendously and we can use the projector as it is intended.
