My Students

Do you remember learning about eating healthy and exercise? My students are struggling with proper nutrition and staying active.

I teach 22 first graders in a Title 1 School located in a high poverty and high crime area in Pennsylvania.

All of my students receive free breakfast and free lunch. At the present time only a small percentage of my students are at the proper reading and math level. Many of my students come from homes where English is not spoken.

My Project

I would like my students to get an iPad mini and case in order to learn about healthy foods and exercise. There are many wonderful apps that will help my students learn about healthy eating and exercise. Some of the apps that I want my students to play include: Awesome Eats, Teaching Kids about Nutrition and Learn Gymnastics for Kids.

I would love if my students would learn about healthy eating and exercise.

This will be very beneficial in my students being more alert and focused. Please help my students be the best that they can be.
