We are excited to begin the school year and get to know an amazing group of students. This is an integrate co-teaching classroom with a variety of strengths, interests, and learning styles. We have the pleasure of working with 13 boys and 9 girls in our classroom this year. They are eager to work hard and they show a love of learning. This group of students love to read, work in small groups, ask questions, and participate in group lessons.

We will utilize the space during whole group lessons, small cooperative groups, and independent reading.

My Project
We will use the rug to meet together in a large group for all subject areas. This is typically where introductory lessons and mini lessons will be taught.
To improve social and emotional growth of our students, we have a morning chat each day to greet one another, share, and discuss the days events.
This benefits all the students to create a positive classroom community.
Students will further benefit from the rug when they break into small cooperative groups. They will really enjoy being able to read in a cozy area during independent reading as well!
