My Students

Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world, Nelson Mandela.

I am blessed to teach 21, wonderful, 3rd graders in the state of West Virginia.

We attend a large, elementary school with very limited funding. More than 70% of our students are considered to be low SES. We can use any help you can offer and will be grateful for it! Thank you so much for your consideration.

My Project

With a new classroom rug, we will be able to have more group time with our classroom! This year our school has implemented a new program in which the students must leave their desks and come to a central location (i.e. a carpet). The new program was put in place in order to bring improve student performance in the area of math.

We are trying our best to fund raise for this project.

However, living in a community with such a high number of its members living in poverty makes fund raising somewhat difficult. Your help will improve the quality of my students' education as well as make our day more enjoyable.
